Farm History

Our story began in 1898 when Kay's great grandfather purchased land in the township of Rudolph. Her grandfather bought a portion of this land (96 acres) in 1921 to start a dairy farm.  In 1957, Kay's father took over the family farm and continued dairy farming into the 1990s.  In 2004, Kay's father sold approximately 70 acres of the farm to the DNR.  Keeping the farm in the family was very important to us so we purchased the remaining acres in 2009.

In 2010, we began remodeling the barn.  Over a three-year period, the remodeling included replacing segments of the barn foundation and wall, installing a steel roof and steel siding, and adding the sales area to the front of the barn.  We opened our produce market in the summer of 2012 and look forward to growing with you each year!
